1 Dark Confrontations on Sat Dec 25, 2010 10:17 am

The dark figure cautiously moved thought through the deserted part of the Galactic City, tall abandon droid factories surrounded him on all sides. His footsteps echoed in the eerie quite. The black robes made him one with the shadows. He moved like a large cat, stalking his prey, he knew the scent. Black hectic tattoos adorned his blood red face, which was crowned with protruding horns. His eyes searching for what his spirit could not sense. Eyes like flowing magma. The image of evil. A hand fell to the large lightsaber at his side, he would use it today. His face a blank mask. His body almost on instinct alone fell to the ground, nothing moved. Darth Maul rose and continued his hunt. His master, he knew were to find him; for he had stalked him like an animal since the hooded figure left the Senate Building. Once he accomplished this task the darkside would be his greatest allie; and no one, no Jedi could touch him. The one thing running though his mind: Kill Sidious, kill Sideous. The robed and hooded figure stood in his secret lair beneath the abandon industrial district known by most as The Works. He knew what to expect. His eyes closed as he focused all his dark energy. He could sense the ripples in the Force as his apprentice drew closer, closer to death. Maul found the cleverly concealed secret entrance; a massive sealed airlock; hidden in plain sight. His lightsaber sprouted a blood red length that out shone all glowrods; it cast terrible shadows on his horrible face, and caused his eyes to almost shine. The extent was driven into the airlock. Molten metal bordered the blade as it sparks flew, a flawless circle emerged. Maul raised his fingers; the unseen Force sent the wide circle of useless metal flying like a cannonball into the far wall were its echo rumbled down the hall, a clanging metallic noise equal to an explosion. Sideous heard Maul’s brash entrance and remained planted, a small lightsaber hidden under his cloak ready for use. Maul looked into the newly formed entrance that leads into dead darkness. He entered, more then ready. His saber glowed and sang as he marched with unstoppable determination, fallowing the ripples in the Force. A deadly red glowing grew ever closer accompanied by a lightsaber’s song. He was ready. Maul saw the hooded figure standing there in the shadows like a statue with his back to him. He stood in the corridor with unwavering attention. “You’ve come; my apprentice.” Sideous said in his sinister tone. His fingers wrapped around the cold metal of a lightsaber. Maul said nothing; his eyes could have melted any man. They peered into Sideous like x-rays. The opposite end of his lightsaber sprouted yet another radiant length; it twirled in his deadly fingers singing an iridescent tune. Sidious’s own red length sang into existence as he faced his apprentice. A twisted battle cry broke his lips as his blade descended singing a mournful tune. The Zabrak parried with a deadly twirl of his dual blades; both sang the same tune. Maul had the advantage; his twin blades kept his opponent at a safe distance. Their blades clashed, seeming a chaotic mass of determination on either side. But the beauty lay in the invisible Force. The fight progressed! Nether submitted to the other. Suddenly! Sideous’s blade descended and the twin bladed lightsaber became two separate ones. In the blink on an eye Sideous had his apprentice by the gullet with his feet suspended above the ground. For a moment the Sith apprentice appeared powerless, weak, and helpless. “You are no longer of any use to me.” Sideous said so coolly that Maul felt his blood run cold. Sideous’s lightsaber was still humming its tune. The radiant length ran through the Zabrak’s heart and emerged out the backside almost to the hilt then was deactivated. The dead weight was dropped uselessly to the floor. The hooded figure looked to the body. He’d foreseen this through the Force. Now he would have to find a new apprentice so that the Sith Order may live on through the Rule of Two. He would find another one, even more powerful then this one at his feet… THE END
